and the Ultimate Glitter Lip Balm
with the fresh and lively 2021 Color of the Year colors.

VDL collaborates with Pantone every year
 to release products with the color of the year.

They’ve released various products this year as well, without fail.

Among the products dressed up in 2021’s Color of the Year,
 I will be introducing the lip balms.

The Pantone 21 lip balm released this time around comes in two types;
one being a pink Tint Lip Balm ,
 and the other being a Glitter Lip Balm with shiny glitters.

Both balms come in the same looking case. 

Opening up the lids,
 you can see two distinctly different images.

The yellow Illuminating Color Lip Balm
is said to be a tinted color lip balm that turns pink when applied.
The Ultimate Glitter Lip Balm is said to be a lip balm
 that stands out with its moist and shiny glitter when applied.

Upon swatching on each lip balm,
they appear the same in color as shown in the photos.
In the case of the glitter lip balm,
I expected it to look better,
 but the glitter didn’t stand out as much as I had expected.

It is a soft and gentle glitter lip balm.

Now that we’ve taken a brief look at both lip balms,
 let me try on each color on my lips.

Expert Illuminating Color Lip Balm

This is a color lip balm with the bright and cheerful 2021 trend color
 that will make you feel good just by looking at it.

The color appears to change upon reacting to the heat
when applied on to the lips.
It’s a pink color that’s not too dark,
 so it is nice to use for creating lips with a natural complexion.

Expert Ultimate Glitter Lip Balm

This lip balm displays the other trend color of 2021, Ultimate Gray with glitters,
 that can be used to complete a trendy and sophisticated lip makeup.

The enigmatic purple, and gold pearls and high gloss oil
 is said to create shiny lips that sparkles from any angle.

The glitters apply on very naturally,
 creating a subtly shiny look that doesn’t look overbearing.

So, I’ve shown you both colors by applying the two lip balms on to my lips. 

Both lip balms are quite lovely and moist,
 so I think they’ll be good for everyday use.

While it applies and feels moist on the lips,
if you were to move your lips a lot or have the habit of biting your lips,
 I don’t see them lasting very long. 

Although they are good lip balms to apply on lightly,
due to their light moisturizing texture,
 it’s best to reapply them on frequently. 

Being that these lip balms barely feel sticky or heavy,
I would recommend these VDL Pantone 21 Expert Lip Balms
for those who normally dislikes the stuffiness of lip products,
 but is in need of moisturizing their lips 😊
