HERA’S GLOW LASTING CUSHION ALL COLORS FACE SWATCH REVIEW

Hera’s Glow Lasting Cushion
is said to apply on thinly as if were my skin
with a radiant glow.
The black and gold packaging
makes for an impressing looking gift as well.

The product comes with an additional refill.

The cushion design looks very luxurious.

The case itself is an easy to open and close
magnetic snap shut case.

When you open the lid, you’ll be presented with a clean looking puff.

This is the first layering puff that was manufactured
by applying an eco-friendly air foaming process that does not use organic solvents.
The pores of the puff are said to be smaller than that of the existing puffs,
so that the cushion can be applied thinner and more evenly.

The cushion is sealed with a protective sticker seal
which was easy to remove.

The sponge under the seal is said to have one special aspect.
It’s said to be a thin layer sponge
that was created by being compressed under high pressure
so that it’ll allow for a nice and even pickup for a longer period of time,
by keeping its shape from when you start to use it till the end.

When I pressed the puff down, it felt slightly stiff,
but I was able to see that the cushion
was evenly picked on up to the puff.

When I applied the cushion on to the back of my hand,
I was able to see that it applied on quite evenly.

After spreading the cushion out,
it had thin and close fit,
and despite it being a glow cushion,
the finishing was uncomfortable on the skin at all.
The cushion seems to express the skin beautifully with its subtle glow.

Hera’s Glow Lasting Cushion comes in a total of 8 shades.
On top of that, there is an additional limited shade called Dewy Skin Glow.
I’ll first show the eight shades,
and then slightly introduce
the Dewy Skin Glow at the end.

While you would assume a choice of eight shades would be wide,
upon applying it on, as the difference between each tone was not
as big as I expected, I felt a bit confused.
Although the shades don’t seem to be very different,
they are divided in detail,
so I do wonder it I would be able to find a shade
that would be more suitable to my skin tone.

12N1 Porcelain
This is the brightest neutral-toned shade among the eight shades.
It has a clear and neat feeling, so it works great regardless of whether
you are warm or cool toned.

17N1 Ivory
This is bright neutral shade
that seems to be slightly more yellow in tone porcelain.

17C Petal Ivory
This shade is slightly pink
and is great for expressing bright and vibrant skin.

21N1 Vanilla
This is neutral tone shade that makes the skin look clear.
It is recommended for those who normally uses No.21.

21C1 Rose Vanilla
This is a No.21 shade with a pinkish base
which I recommend for those who prefer a bright and lively base.

23N1 Beige
This is a neutral toned No.23
and is recommended for those who usually use No.23
If you’re currently using a No.23 shade,
you might find this one to be a half a tone brighter.

23C1 Pink Beige
This is a slightly pink based No.23 shade
that is recommended for those who enjoys
using a lively looking No. 23 shade.

25N1 Amber
This is the darkest shade,
but when I tried it on,
it didn’t seem to be very dark.

When I was applying them on one by one, they felt subtly different.
I’m not sure if it’s because of the light reflecting off my face,
but they seemed to look almost the same in picture.
There is a slight tone difference
with a gradually gradation feeling to them.
While it allows me to choose a tone in more detail,
it also seems to be a bit confusing.

This is the Dewy Skin Glow,
which is a limited shade.

Compared to the existing Glow Lasting cushion, it is smaller in size.
The color looks like a mixture of apricot and rose.

The puff that comes along with it is also a small like the cushion.
It looks so cute. =)

When I applied it on the back of my hand, it really had a transparent shine.
It apply on thinly like the Glow Lasting Cushion
and makes the skin look beautiful with a moist and soft reflective glow.

It’s a shade that creates a natural glow base
making the texture of the skin smooth overall.
However, the size it comes in is quite small.
I also personally found that it actually looks slightly prettier
when applied on as a substitute for a highlighter,
so if you are going to use it,
I recommend using it as a highlighter substitute
rather than a makeup base.

Along with Hera’s Glow Lasting Cushion Limited Shade,
I’ve applied on a showed you all nine shades.
Personally, I’m not really fond of glow cushions very much,
but Hera’s Glow Lasting Cushion is surprisingly light and has a good fit,
so I would consider using it when I want to do a semi-glow base.
Rather than looking greasy, it creates a natural glow.
While the coverage it provides is not high,
but since the subtle shine naturally hides the skin blemishes,
if you’re someone who enjoys natural looking makeup,
or if you’re looking for a nice daily use cushion,
I think Hera’s Glow Lasting Cushion would also be a good choice 😊
