 Introducing Goodal’s Houttuynia Cordata Calming Toner Pad.

Goodal’s Houttuynia Cordata Calming Toner Pad
is said to be a daily toner pad
that moisturizes, and calms sensitized skin
 with Houttuynia Cordata extract from Jeju.

When opening the box,
you’ll see a layer of images and explanations
 of how the pads look like. 

The soft smooth side and moist gauze size
is said to comfortably sooth the skin
 and smoothen the skin texture.

Opening up the box a layer further,
 you’ll see that it comes with its own tongs. 

Finally opening up the box fully,
 we’ll see the jar of toner pads.

It actually appears quite larger than I expected.
 This comes with 70 pads with a capacity of 140ml.

Removing the protective seal,
I was greeted with sight of the pads
 amply moistened with the sparkling essence.

Each pad is moderately thick
and contains a lot of essence,
 so they look fairly wet.

These pads are pure cotton gauze pads
which hold moisture between the gauze holes,
 so they can moisturize the skin and gently remove dead skin cells.

As it was shown when opening the box,
one side of the pad is smooth,
while the other is a moist gauze cotton,
making them quite good to sit on to your skin
 and to be used as a wipe.

I tried using it as a wipe first.

After wiping my skin with the pad,
 it left my skin feeling moist and smooth.

Normally after using a pad to remove dead skin cells,
my skin tends to feel a bit on the rough side,
 but as these were very soft, they didn’t irritate my skin at all.

After thoroughly wiping my skin,
 I sat the pad on to my skin to hydrate.

I did this cause
on top of having a calming effect,
 Goodal’s Houttuynia Cordata line also has an excellent moisturizing effect, 

When I was using this, I found that it felt slightly cool.
Not only did the toner pad sooth the skin,
but it also appeared to help reduce the heat felt on the skin with
 a slight cooling effect.

With these pads being mild pH pads for sensitive skin,
they’re also said to help provide a oil and moisture balance to the skin,
 so I think I should start using this more often in the upcoming future.

I normally use Goodal’s Green Tangerine Vita C Toner pads
to help me with the blemishes on my skin,
but as the weather has been getting cold and dry,
 I’ve found that my skin is need dire need of calming care.
